hello!!!! :P time for photos!
okay pretty much just walked around hong kong and did most of the shopping for the family and friends. HAHA oh and we had porridge, dim sum, australian dairy and gongcha! i miss gongcha in hk! hahah :)
o then first day in san francisco was sightseeing day!
We had breakfast with our leadings terence and amanda at the crew joint and had really wonderful hashbrowns and 9 mini pancakes! (but the poached eggs weren't very naise) HAHA we waited for the cable car for 45 minutes! haha but it was all worthwhile 'cept for the rude passenger on board beside us. oh wells there are all kinds of people in this world. :P
climbed the steep hilly slopes of lombard street and reached a winding garden at the top with magnificent view of SFO city.
we trekked to fisherman's wharf and lunched on the famous clam chowder and their seafood platter! the manager was so naise he gave us portions for 3 at the price of 2! :)wheeee we wanted to rent the bikes and the GoCar but it was toooooo steeply priced! and so we trudged our way to Golden Gate Bridge. went through parks and roads and even attempted walking backwards to backface the sun! hahahah it took us 45 frigging minutes! and we were still quite far from the bridge...hahahah went barefooted on the beach (the seawater was freezing!) and marked my name on the sand! hahah

and then we chanced upon the picturesque palace of fine arts just 5 minutes walk from the beach. NAISE! they were planning a wedding reception inside with a limousine parked at the entrance.
the next day i woke up early and thank god for free in-room wifi, i managed to skype with alicia! hahahha and then I took to the streets at 7.30am! hahahah we met for breakfast at an american diner and they had wonderful hashbrowns (more like rosti) and mega pancakes and the environment was great. I still remember that martha was the name of the lady who served us breakfast. :) didn't manage to take much pictures during the shopping. only thing is that some brands are really very cheap in the US, such as Ben & Jerry's, Apple and SuperDry! HAHA we then had a really really huge lunch at cheesecake factory. their cheesecakes were awesome! too bad I couldn't bring any back to share! hahhaa

when we came back to hk, it was all shopping and catching up on sleep (which was futile...HAHA). managed to have sushi at sushi one, had dim sum again, and we sang karaoke at neway! the service and system were SOOOO MUCH better than kbox's. HAHAHA
okay that's all folks! :) ooo i just met up with pp at terminal 1 for lunch! heehee
i still miss everyone. I brought ghiradelli chocs back! meet up meet up!

finally paid back the sleep debt with an 8-hour solid day nap. :)
okay back from the most populous city in the world this morning and am still amazed by the number of people and buildings and the size of the moon there!!!!! (no wonder jap animes always have huge moons. HAHA) but really wished the weather there was much cooler!!!!!! rarrrr. had a late night ramen supper with some of the crew but i still think that singapore's santouka ramen's much better! hahahahokay view from my room, and my room! :P
we boarded the train from daiba station and we could see a miniature statue of liberty, the rainbow bridge, and the tokyo tower in the distance...
visited a shrine and cleansed our hands and face with the water there. hurhur
then we went for lunch at shinjuku at a backalley soba place. really nice and value for money (380 yen = 6 dollars) for a bowl with soft boiled eggs inside! :) must try again
then had shopping at 100yen shop and then taitai high tea. ooo the chocolate parfait was naise. (but why are things soooooo expensive in japan. :(.....)
everyone was damn shagged but i decided to go explore a lil bit more despite the night flight back, and a budget constraint of 1000yen (and still have to catch the train back to the hotel!!!)...hurhurhur oh wells caught the sunset from 45 storeys at the tokyo metropolitan building heeeheee.
geykiang tried to walk from shinjuku to shibuya but got lost in the city maze. :P in the end i took a train from some ulu train station after an hour of walking. HAHAH
and tata! the shibuya traffic junction. :P
my loot in a day. :P
i wanna go back again during spring or autumn!!! :)
oooo and lastly the unbelievably nice lipton milk tea!!! (even better than koi and gongcha. serious)
okay need to cut hair very soon!! :P
