went for karaoke at bugis yest with shihui. erm we sang for 6 hours i think. SIX hours. :P heehee bought salad and sushi in there to eat. heehee.
after that we met gabriel for dinner at raffles city, then we went to smu to meet marie, sam and sheena for practice. i like our song suzanne un jour. okay anyway sheena bought us j.co donuts and we used gabriel's photo booth to cam whore.
really really had alot of fun these few days.
HAHA errrr went for group one prac yest at marie's house. i kinda like the tune of suzanne un jour. hahah though we couldn't really pronounce the french words properly, but i think we had alot of fun sight-reading the score! heehee...after that went for leonardo prac, then we went to vivocity for the treasure hunt. on the bus we told jokes and logical puzzles. i don't like being on the hook. hahhaa but we had alot of fun on the bus and at vivocity la, though i left early, but got to know the juniors who went a little better. yah hope to have more of such activities in the future. i vote for BBQ! :D
after that rushed over to joel's 21st birthday party. yah had great food and company. :D sang baby baby for joel and attempted to modify some of the lyrics on the spot. hurhur i think i need to do some planning before i carry on withe such risky affairs in the future. hahahah yah i WANT A BIRTHDAY PARTY TOO. hurhurhur
ok just had a long talk with alicia, my brother at work. hahah yah alot about work and life and handling human relationships...anyway even though there's only 4 dollars left in my wallet, i am looking forward to the many karaoke sessions i am going to have this week. heeeheee.
went to sandy's house to play wii and ate M&M's peanut choc. heeehee. had delicious chicken cutlet with daifung at AMK S11 after that. hahaha the proportion's really big and we added more coleslaw which made it even bettter..... WOOOO. ok then we went to macs and stuffed ourselves with sundaes and mcflurry's. HAHAHA then we ended up very full and had to walk around amk hub to digest the food.
okay then i was walking past bishan park in the dark and saw the stars...and felt the evening breeze...
today's one of those days when i can feel a little happier going to my workplace, cuz we had training today, and that means - NO WORK! :D yah so i kinda smiled more i guess...
a few days ago when i felt more stressful at work i really can't bring myself to smile, cuz every second i will be worrying about something that i have done, what are it's consequences, and other things which i have not done, and what are the consequences if i miss something out. then when i am deeper into my thoughts, some irritating customers will ring the phone asking me to help them to change rooms, give them wake up calls the next day, asking for directions to some tourist attractions....
alright the last one's not so bad, actually it's one of my favourite activities to do with guests, but i guess i don't like 'SERVICING' other people as much as i should...alright josephine has told me that i will be attached to her the next week so that she can teach me the right way of doing things so that i will stop making silly mistakes. yah i think that will be better. i just wonder how much she can guide me since we are always so busy with customers and occupied with the admin stuff. I HATE ADMIN STUFFS...i thought i escaped it by not looking for an admin job but now i am stuck in it. BAH
alright i have picked up a new favourite word 'alright' from thomas kerschbaumer. i think that's how i spell this italian's name. okay went out after hr training with xiuqi. we had the azabu sabo ice cream after our lesson which ended at 3 instead of the original 6pm. heehee yah i had this dark choc ice cream which sorta killed my throat for 5 minutes after the first few mouthfuls. heehee xiuqi had this green tea flavour which she totally adored, though i didn't really find it to be very tasty. oh we chanced upon this nus high school string ensemble thingie at esplanade and decided to sit down and listen. they also had this guy and girl voice solosists who i did not really like.
erm...i was watching 超級星光大道第三季 just now. i am hooked with it now, just like i was with the previous 2 seasons. :D

after working for a little more than 2 months, i have a trainee at work now. like wth. HAHHAAHHA i am like so inexperienced i can't even take care of myself properly yet i have to take care of another person. haahah i am screwed. and i lost my name tag yesterday. i think the replacement will cost me almost 30 bucks. WTH. :(
so many of my friends are leaving me to go overseas to study. AGAIN.
yah had my last outing with lip yong and raymond yest before lip yong leaves for perth on thur. well i was really sad when i was writing his card at home. we had known each other for 10 years and he is really one of my best-est friend lor. i think i will really miss him leh. ever since we met raymond we have been celebrating our birthdays together...but i think we can't do it for this year cuz he will be in australia while we will still be in singapore.
hopefully i can fly over next year to visit him and all my friends over there! :D
just came back from partyworld ktv 
outing with deanne at orchard. heehee took so many videos and photos of each other's stupid faces. hahahahaah i had this strawberry milk drink which was really really really nice! heehee the mango juice which i ordered after that really paled in comparison. ok still got a few more karaoke sessions with a few other ppl. oh yah jaye is leaving mms for some boutique wine shop. i shall jio her for karaoke too! :D
went to dawn's place for makan yesterday. wow dawn's mom is a really good cook. she cooked sweet fried fish, chicken curries, mushrooms and vegetables, tiger prawns, more mushrooms and vegetables, fried bee hoon...and i think we also had sambal prawns right which they ordered from caterers. yahhh i think i had 3 rounds of food and alot of the very sweet fruit punch. :D then we had the semi-circle love letters and strawberry love letters. then we started to play and watch ppl play mahjong. there were frequent attempts by valmond and i to start a poker or blackjack game since we were the watchers but to no avail.
games again and i had my first right arm workout in ages. it was really tiring shaking the controller and the nanchu...HAHAHAH yah then we proceeded to play this seed game which was really quite fun. ooo then when some of them left i got the chance to play mahjong :D at this point of time we were served piping hot and really good red bean ching tng. heehee after mahjong we had chocolate fondue with marshmallows (!!! :D:D:D:D) and bananas. gabriel and joyce tried to dip the really nice love lettters into the chocolate fondue and it turned out really good! heeehee...had such a great time dawn u must invite us over to ur place soon k. :D
cheap the food was over there, but i realised that the serving was really small and not really that nice. thank god i had my donuts with me that night...wants to learn how to beat-box, dance, strum the guitar, and get a gym membership. :D
had so much fun eating and talking (gossiping) today at pris's house. yah we ate murtabak and prata for lunch, then went back to pris house for fruits. on the way back we picked up miss low from kembangan mrt station. yah she's still the same old miss low. HAHAHA old as in not old-OLD, but familiar-old. HAHAH yah like still so talkative just like xiuqing. i really loved every minute talking to my old classmates about our lives and also A LITTLE about other ppl's lives. HAHAHA.
yah next time i hope we can go have a mahjong session at miss low's place. :D
was watching marie's play at smu just now. and i was really touched by, or u can say that i am inspired by, marie. yah i think we should all be like her, daring to chase what she wants and to just stay out of her comfort zone so that she can get to experience the different aspects of life. i hope to be as adventurous as her someday. yah i wanna take part in more singing competitions. got booted out the other time will work harder.
BEEN FEASTING ON SWEET FOOD LATELY. i guess i should be really high now. i just bought some donuts from causeway point to have for breakfast tomorrow. HEEHEE ok went to marina square to have klunch with shihui, then we went to starbucks to have coffee and really good almond croissant and chocolate danish. YAY hahahaha then we had chorale meeting. after that went to upp thomson road for thai food at thomson plaza. it was really good. fresh and tasty. highly recommended. after that we adjourned to iceskimo for ice cream. the d24 durian ice cream was really good though we only ordered 2 scoops and 4 tubs of other ice creams which were not as good compared to the durian one. i could actually taste the durian skin!!
ok then this morning went to help my uncle move house from chinatown to boon lay. BOON LAY is really quite off my map. yah so had lotsa bread and fried kway teow and carrot cake and oyster egg. BAAH then proceeded to causeway point to support joel for impresario which he did not get in unfortunately. hmmm then we went to swensen's to have food and ice cream. YAY EARTHQUAKE!!!! hahah oh i am starting to think of my bittersweet chocolate donut now...DAMN.
nathaniel found it hard to laugh out loud or smile really widely today. the first thing in the morning during briefing he was told that his silly mistakes resulted in his manager getting scolding from someone else. then during work it was very busy, but he still had to keep asking his seniors questions becuz he is so AFRAID of commiting the same mistakes again and just wants to be extra careful. well at the end of the shift he got scolding AGAIN from his assistant manager because of some mistakes that he had supposedly made. well nathaniel can't be sure whether he had really made that mistake and knows that he shouldn't argue back since it won't help matters at all... THUS, 230108 was a really bad day for nathaniel.
been sorta busy with work, but i am actually more busy going out and things like that.
went with deanne to jay chou world tour at indoor stadium last fri. we went to kbox before that just to kill time. HAHAH ate ALOT of crackers from the tidbits bowl. jay's concert was pretty good. i really like the lightings and the stadium reverberations, but i guess the choice of the songs could be better. like he should have sung more of the songs that i know how to sing along as well. haha but i guess it's me who lacked preparation. HAHAHA. i loved the unplugged session very much, especially the two totally different renditions of ren zhe and shuang jie gun. YAH lovely.
oh then on sat i went to vivocity for the supposed-to-be-treaure-hunt outing but the turnout was not very good so we decided to postpone it. HAHAHA i think i was a little tired from the lack of sleep on fri night/sat morn, but i really cherished the fun and convo that we had. photos were good too! should be up on facebook by now. hahaha
oh today my reception counter had 400-over arrivals and departures to deal with. so it was pretty hectic. same situation to be expected for the next few days....argh so hope u guys understand when i don't answer the phone or reply to your message....:D
i must learn to protect myself and stop making myself the scapegoat. must get better sense of the working society.
ok so today a gst told me that he will be checking out and wants the bill to be prepared after he comes back from breakfast. well he didn't convey the message in a very friendly manner... i then told my cashier about it but she told me that it's ok (as in no need to care about it since it can be done in a minute). when the gst came back another colleague of mine attended to him, and the guest was really upset that he didn't have a fast-enough checkout. so he requested to talk to my manager about this. haha at this point of time i was doing a check-in for other another guest when my manager came over to me and asked me to go over there to apologize to the guest. and so i walked over calmly and told him that i am sorry, in one of the most insincere way of course, as if i couldn't wait to return back to my desk to attend to the other guest. yah so even after i apologized he was angry and told me that i should be ashamed of myself. sure........ok so he left and i walked back to my other guest and greeted them with my brightest smile.
THAT BRAT CAN'T SPOIL MY DAY! NEH-NI-NEH-NI-BOO-BOOOO. stop being childish. :P

YAY i went for a run just now...haven't been running/exercising for the past one month plus since taipei trip and it felt really good to sweat. :D
cants believes thats is ams actuallys goings tos jays chous concert!!!!! woohoo i got this company package with consists of a night's stay at my hotel plus a pair of concert tix for only 388++ heehee. quite a good deal i would say. managed to snatch the last pair of cat b tix. heehee and i can't believe that the concert is actually next friday!!!! whoahhh i thought that i can nv get anymore tix for the concert liao. this would be my first concert in 21 years!! yay. ok will be going with deanne to watch the concert while she will stay in the hotel room with priscilla. hmmmm maybe i should add an extra bed in the room for myself? HAHAHAH ok i am very excited!
last day of orientation. oh what was i going to say....oh ya down with flu the ENTIRE day. fortunately i am feeling better now, no more water flowing out of my nose. ARGH. oh we had the hotel tour today, got to see the presidential suite. HEHE quite nice la i think 1800 for the room for a night is quite worth it leh. any of my friends wanna go there for card and drinking session with me? hahahaha
i just remembered that the primary purpose of this blog is to help me remember what happened to me in the past few days/months/years...if u still do not know, i am a very forgetful person.
and so 2 great things happened to me today.
had an inspirational talk by nick vujicic from australia. he was born without any limbs, except the 2 toes on his left 'leg'. yah so it was pretty amazing to be in the same room as him, listening to him talk about how he was influenced by the works of his god and how he was somehow made to be who he is by god not by mistake, but on purpose. he sure did gave me some pretty positive influence on how i should approach life with trust and patience, like how some things can't be rushed, and that there are always ups and downs in life - just have to wait for the right opportunity before a good thing comes out again after the dark patch...
alright so after this talk i decided to go kbox with 2 of my new friends jaye and eddie. haha i just found eddie to be really familiar because the way he speaks and tell jokes really resembles edwin tay my police squadmate. hahahahha REALLY. ok only i will understand i guess....hahaha yah so we went to kbox and sang. i ate the buffet for the first time, and it was not too bad la, at least not as bad as what eddie told me before we went in. yah so we just keep singing and singing. i am happy that there are still some people who really do appreciate my singing. THANKS!
had orientation today at vanda ballroom. okay everything was rather boring other than the buffet lunch we had at aquamarine. i was smiling throughout lunch. okay except when i had to swallow three miserable pieces of stale oysters. BAHHH. hahah but the desserts were rather good. i like the chocolate truffles. hehe
been going for a tad too many cafe cartel cakes selling at half price lately. HAHAH my friends and i are so cheapo. HAHHAH... had chorale's general meeting yesterday. was abit stone-ish throughout the session. i think it was a mental block or perhaps i think i will a lil too shy with so many ppl in the room. well my mind and my mouth kinda opened after that when we went for dinner at city hall burger king. heeheee. been eating alot nowadays i think my good appetite has returned. Yay.
and of cuz. some disappointment returned too. :S

oh i just read gabriel's blog and i felt an urgent need to sum up my year 2007 too. haha.
was in the police force for nearly 2 years of my life, and i had experienced SOOO many things from it. be it the beautiful or the nasty side of life, i think i've almost had it all. yah from handling rotten bodies, witnessing the electrocution of a mad woman, getting tassed myself, to working out with chan, anton and mark, going for makan sessions, justice day, mini-excursions with nadiah, meeting my 2 new SCs peter and choonkai, and finally leaving my beloved team. i think it all went past quite smoothly. i had so much fun inside the force that i was really quite reluctant to say goodbye to everyone in it.
had in song 07 with victoria chorale. ok the first thing i can remember is that our program booklet was really well-designed. great work yokie! eh. oh yah and i was sorta like responsible the some of the standing positions and some lightings and stuffs like that. well coming to think about it now, i didn't really like what i had done back then, like how i should have behaved and contributed. i think it's quite hard to explain. i just think that i could have done better with this relatively simple job. oh well i sound quite emo but i am not ok?
i believed this year's reunion carolling was really quite memorable for me cuz i finally got to sing gaudete tenor solo line. HEHE honestly i was very nervous before the song. cuz i kep anticipating the next song to be gaudete after every song but nelson just kept pushing it further and further back. argh haha. but i must say i really enjoyed singing it! :D
haha yah i think i had enjoyed everyone's company throughout the year, esp loved going to sandy's cafe for the food and games! hahah yah even though so many of the laolaos have left already, but i think the newbies are still going strong! i had a crazy time at the xmas party i think i must be drunk i don't remember holding pig trotters. heehee.
yah may we accomplish what we have set out to do in 2008. :D
bought my nikon d40x in late oct and am still playing around with the auto mode. hahah i suck. will work on the manual mode soon.
during dec was the taipei trip with my 4-4 classmates. i think they are the sort of ppl whom i really felt comfortable being around with, yah can laugh out loud all i want without giving a thought to it. hmmm and all the dinner meetings during weekends and stuffs like that really enabled us to keep this relationship strong. well brandon and melvin are going overseas later this year, and the others are going to different universities. yah so i hope we can still be able to get in touch as frequent as possible.
hmmm now my two other best friends, raymond and lip yong. i can't emphasise how much i love them both. yah they just make me laugh all the time with those silly jokes and cynicism. even though they always give sarcastic remarks about me slacking in the police force, haha but i think even i had so much fun doing it! hopefully we will be able to meet up next year in australia maybe since lip yong's going there to study. i wanna go backpacking in australia!
talking about backpacking, rifdi was actively urging me to go backpacking with him in europe since we had an agreement since jc, and he told me that a flight to milan costs only 1k! quite unbelieveable. i want to go to europe too leh. HAHA. ok i finally got to meet up with rifdi, yehlin and jingzhi (the COOLER clique haha). yah really missed them.
oh been going for karaoke sessions with shihui and siying and calvin and weilin. one more coming up this sat! wheeee i got new songs to sing already! haha. yah also went for impresario auditions. i don't think i got into the next round since no one called me yet, but i am fine with it. how can i not be righ.... ahhahaha hopefully joel gets in! :D

peggy the most experienced cashier intro-ed me this salon which offers 50% discount for marina mandarin staffs. ahaha yah so we happily went together. i had 3 rounds of head and shoulder massage when the shampoo girl was washing my hair and it really felt shiok!, even for a person like me who doesn't really like massages very much. yah and i think the haircut went pretty well. i think my 30 bucks were worth it. can u imagine that the original price was actually 59 dollars!? oh i wouldn't pay for such an expensive haircut. not now. :P

after working in the hotel, i realised that i do not have much time for myself, cuz most of the time is either spent at work, travelling (esp the long walk through citylink mall from cityhall mrt...), or going out with friends. very little time to really appreciate the surroundings and what is happening to me. yah so at the moment i am actually quite empty inside. i think i need to read or something. and i shall watch heroes season 2 at a more relaxed pace...and since last year i have not exercised. i think i should really start soon.
oh alot of ppl came to my house to celebrate the first day of the new year. ok we went to j8 to get the ingredients, then we started cooking at around 530pm. after 2 hours of gruelling hard work, daniel made popiah, melvin made his mushroom soup, yy made his salad which was really good, and i made pizza bread (idea from sandy. :D). oh i think we had reall good food and also had lotsa fun playing saboteur after dinner.
heehee luckily my work requires me to stand. if i were to have a desk job, i can't imagine what i would become with all the festive goodies in my stomach...someone pls pester me to go for a workout together. :)
working is tiring. SO BERRY TIRING. argh today is new year's eve and so many ppl are checking into the hotel to view the fireworks from the rooms. i think my brain cannot take so much info and multi-tasking. i am really lousy. baaahhh.
incredible. i had my first japanese conversation with 2 japanese guests today. i was helping them with their luggages cuz they seem to have some difficulty moving it on their on. haha it all started out as an english convo but i wanted to test my jap. so they were leaving the hotel and i wanted to ask them until what time they will be leaving their luggages at our hotel. ok i was slurring and pausing here and there... hahaha then this indian guy from concierge suddenly started asking them questions in fluent japanese. hahaha i was totally stunned. yah totally amazed. oh well. but i think i was nice enough to help them with their luggages that they decided to take pictures with me. YAY my first pictures with my guest in the hotel. too bad i won't get to have the photos. AHAHAHA. i know i have 2 japanese colleagues and alot of fillipino colleagues working with me. this is so exciting. must ask my japanese colleagues to help me with jap lang. :D
such a sleepy day. i almost fell asleep on the train and bus. ARGH neeed to sleep more!!! ok yesterday was really fun i think.
ran from work at marina mandarin to raffles hotel in the afternoon yesterday, barely making it in time for the reunion carolling. i think reunion carolling is one of the most impt event of the year as it is one of the rare occassion that we get to meet so many friends, something which is not possible during other times of the year. yah so i really cherished singing together on christmas day at raffles hotel lobby. :D
oh wanted to give out my CHOCOLATES but there were certain competition in lady sophia suite also giving away chocs. hahah ok i shall find something more unique to give next year. heehee after carolling the bunch of us went to thai express for desserts. my red bean paste with coconut ice cream was not bad, and it was quite interesting doing the 'wei ling confused smile' thingie at thai express...hurhurhur. then we took mrt to ben tan's house for dinner :D yah talk about lots of things and asked lots of questions. and yeah the vj year book was really useful for easy identification when we are gossiping behind other people's back. hAHAHA.

just came back from carolling at singapore island country club with vc. we really had a great time there singing with the very very friendly and hospitable uncles and aunties over there who treated us to dinner at the cafe! hahhaha yah the otah and char kway teow were great! oh and i had 3 glasses of red wine which yin chuin said were of good great and also essential for the maturing of my taste buds. heehee. yah heehee
so tired. work is getting a lil boring, yet tiring. argh. shall do something to spice up work life. :D
waiting for work to start at 3 later on in the afternoon. man it's going to end at 11. HAHAHA maybe i should go grab lunch at the hotel cafeteria. heehee. well front desk job has been really fulfilling to a great extent. love learning the procedures and communicating with guests, but i don't see myself doing the same job in the long run... i think i will cry if i have to do this for 5 years or so heehee
went for propnex graduation ceremony yesterday. it was quite a waste of time actually...hahaha all 3 hours spent there just to get a damn cert. hahahah oh well at least after that i got to meet up with chan, dennis, shane harold and yy a.k.a leonard for my THIRD dinner. haha
work was fantasbularatingly good. front desk work is very challenging, i think i got like 3.28% after 2 days of learning. hahahah it's really alot of familiarising with the system which hanged on my first day of work, and how to accomodate to guest needs. at the moment i just said ok to everything that the guest wants first if it sounds reasonable or if need be i will ask them to wait for a while first before i consult my shifus. josephine looks small but she is actually the assistant manager. irene looks sleepy but she is very efficient, like she can multi-task very well. oh deanne is good too she has been here for like only 3 weeks but she works like a pro liao.
hhahha good ar my working environment. haha my boss mr pek is a very funny guy he was making fun of himself in the office yesterday. HAHAHA oh went to most of the room types already, except presidential suite. heehee most probably will be going for orientation next week.
argh the only not-so-good thing about my job is have to wake up very early for first shift. like 530 latest. arghhh i was really running late today when i left the house at 615. luckily the bus came quite promptly. :D

oh today was impresario auditions. met jiejun and hianyin there! hahahaha. oh well the only thing i remembered about the audition was the tapping of toes. ARgh....anyway i dropped my NT190 watch on the locker room floor and now it has stopped working and there is something moving around inside it when u shake it. ARGH. why can't cheap things last. i have to wear my scratched watch to work tml. BAH
the mrt station at 7 was so crowded it almost felt like orchard road on christmas eve. haha yah and the trains were pretty fast. they also had this glass barricade on the platform to ensure people do not cross the safety line...
shilin night market was really crowded when we went there. we really had to squeeze through hoardes of ppl going in the opposite direction. did not really have much snacks there cuz there wasn't even enough time to shop, much less to say time for eating. HAHA
HAHA yah anyway went to this marvelous shoe shop called great taipei shoes. they had lotsa shoes going at very low rates, however the biggest steal were the NT990 onitsuka tigers shoes! hahaha wanted to get a few pairs but they did not have my size! iwent back there like 4 times and also went to look around the night market for other similar stores, but they either do not have the designs or that they did not have my size. ARGH... not very good...melvin was really indecisive at first whether to get the shoes or not so we walked down the street, only to walk back the same street after 15 minutes after he decided that he would need to get two pairs, one for himself and one for his friend. bah i would have bought 10 pairs if they had my sizes. :( shilin is a must go. too bad i only went once. ARGH... anyway bought 2 hoodies plus 2 long-sleeve old navy t-shirts here plus skinny tie.

it wasn't easy getting to zhongxiao east road, had to ask around for directions and kept refering to maps. hehe but at least i think we are all decent map readers. 
hahahah bran, mel and yy managed to get business pants at a street hawker down the road. haha so andy, daniel and i were sorta experimenting shots with my cam. hehe
when we reached taipei 101 it was very cloudy and there was actually a very light drizzle. yah so we actually had to rush to taipei 101 from about 500m away. 
it was really magnificent and we could almost see it from anywhere in the eastern district. when we reached the bottom of the building we had to really tilt our head like 90 degrees to see the top. oh but we didn't explore much of the building except the basement foodcourt and market, which was actually quite a waste i would say. however the foodcourt had really delicious-looking food in big portions. yah i had yummy pork cutlet with curry for lunch. then we went to new york new york to get mister donut, shinkong mitsukoshi which was really big cuz it had 4 buildings in all, and then we went to eslite, this really massive building selling all sorts of books. too bad i am not a bookworm if not i would have loved this place.
planned for a trip up to the observatory of taipei 101 but the guys did not want to go up there....yah so no choice we went to tonghua night market. oh the night market is sorta sucky, very little selection of food and clothes. yah so we went to wufenpu, which had pretty much the same price as anywhere else. i think the clothes would only be cheaper if we bought in bulk. OH WELL. so in the end yy and i decided to go back to our hotel first since we were really tired while brandon went to raohe night market himself. 
guting. i went to my 2nd favourite place to shop - ximending. wanted to go to shilin initially but it opens only at 3....
after lunch i had apple dipped in caramel with chopped almond nuts. HEHE also bought dunkin' donuts! heehee there is nothing that is not sweet or salty in taipei. HHAHA
the driver was really interesting. asked daniel to buy betel nuts for him and brought us to this pastry shop which he recommended. he also made us watch this silly cartoon on the car. hahahah oh well and so this five-day trip had come to a close and i think we all had lotsa fun in taipei! woohoo where shall we go next? 
heehee i am back in singapore! had a really great 5-day taipei food tasting and shopping trip! bought lotsa stuffs back :D oh and the good thing about the trip was that the weather forecast was wrong! there was no rain throughout the entire trip except the little drizzle when we were at taipei 101. heh
managed to find a sports apparels shop which sells shoes and clothes at highly discounted prices. ok la the stuffs there are quite off-season ones but they still look very attractive yah. bought a pair of grey adidas shoes there :D oh and there were these BIG chicken cutlets with very spicy chilli powder and BIG bubble teas which is used to soothe the mouth after eating the chicken. 
oh also had fried and steams dumplings, and donuts and MASSIVE fried hot dogs which can be found at up to 10 inches long at some places. yeah so many things to eat already on the first night HAHA then we went to huaxi street night market at around 11 but most of the shops were closed. however the place was still wafting with the scent of smelly toufu. EEE. i did not eat any smelly toufu there. no betel nuts too. haha
ok hotel breakfast was kinda sucky. we had "a wide array of continental and western cuisines" as melvin and brandon put it. had bread with ham and egg and porridge with veggies and pork floss. ok that was pretty much the kind of food we had for the rest of the days. 
ok then went to 228 peace park and ntu hospital station to go to yuanling street for shoes. 228 peace park was windy. yah that's all. yah then we had yonghe soya milk which actually is OK only lor.
mel and bran bought leather shoes at yuanling st after like 2 hours of sourcing around for the best deals, but i did not really fancy that place la. heehee had a big, nice bowl of pork cutlet rice at a japanese restaurant there though. :D
after which we went to back to our hotel to put our stuffs, and then set off for gongguan and shida night market - i was just too tired and felt abit sickly, so decided to walk around ximending by myself. got back to the hotel by 11 and watched tv. they then came back at around 1 plus in the morning and i had to open the door for them. poor me can't sleep properly... :(
danshui is a very pretty coastal town with lotsa nice food and great scenery. went to this traditional goods shop and the lady boss said that daniel looks like he is one of the indigenous people. we actually wanted to walk all the way from the mrt station to fisherman's wharf and lovers' bridge but gave up half way. hahaha but when we took the bus we realised how long the walk would have taken. maybe an hour to walk 5 km? haha melvin was complaining about the amount of cam-whoring that we had, like 1 every 3 footsteps. 
HAHA anyway had ah-gei noodles which consists of fish paste, tofu and vermicelli for lunch. it wasn't very filling, so we went back to danshui old street and had dumpling soup and more bubble tea. the pearls actually filled up half of the entire cup! how amazing... HHAHA then danshui had this market whereby i bought a cap and a pair of specs. :D 
hahah we bought SOOO many things we had to go back to the hotel to put our stuffs first. then we were off to shiling night market!
haha using the internet at royal castle hotel now. :D:D:D the past few days have been very fun! and cold. taipei has very strong winds. alright when i was in singapore the weather forecast said that it will be raining everyday in taipei. but it wasn't raining for the past few days! woohoo! went to danshui, ximending, shilin and many other places...alright don't wanna say much now already must go shopping later at the east district!
had karaoke session in the afternoon with calvin, weilin and shihui at peace centre. HAHA it has been some time since i last went to sing karaoke. hey it's rather cheap 10 bucks for 4 hours of singing plus one drink!:D:D:D anyway jj's baby baby is a really nice song to sing!
alright then went to wei ming's house for 4-4 class gathering. met shawn loh at amk mrt then we went to thomson green together. oh well we were semi-lost when we came to a dead end but managed to get to the house at 715 still. yah had sarpino's pizza which didn't taste very nice (one of the pizzas had only tomatoes and onions on it), but got to catch up with lotsa peeps. played bridge and daidi, some games which i have not played in the longest time... that's why i was the asshole for most of the games! ARGH!

watched ENCHANTED with 44 guys yesterday. yah and as far as i know, it's a chick flick. HAHAH but i like love comedies what, especially those set in new york. ok i know i have been harping on how disgusting the cockroaches were, and the show actually resembled science fiction at the point when swarms of cockroaches were CLEANING the bath tub and dancing on the main character giselle's hands. EEEEEEEEE....
hahaha yah but the movie was actually quite entertaining with lotsa bollywood dancing as melvin called it. i think what it lacks is a christmas dinner date scene. but oh well it's not christmas yet.
